AKB48 Senbatsu Sousenkyou : Thought, Hope, Reality

It's been a centuryyyyy since I last update this blog wwww
Well been busy with work and of course fanboying and other activity that makes me too lazy to write
lazy is the main reason to be honest


Today is the AKB48 senbatsu sousenkyou announcement
yeah this event full of controversy
some people don't take a shit about it
some people really anticipating this event
some say this is just the showcase of money... only those with money can win their oshimen
some say whoever won this sousenkyou, in the end Aki-p who smiling the most www

well hate it or love it this event is the part of this fandom
and I as a mere fan just have to get along with it

this year senbatsu sousenkyou is streamed through youtube and there is a bilingual streaming too for people outside Japan!
wow they really serious to make AKB48 go worldwide!

after so much convenience, I cannot watch it from the start because of work :(
the streaming starts at 15.20 WIB
at first I try to restrict myself to check my twitter TL because I know it will be flooded by Senbatsu Sousenkyou

and .....
I succeeded only for ...
1 hours...

based on last year sousenkyou, I know there must be a live performance first at the start and scene about member entering the stage
so after 1 hour I think the sousenkyou must been already started

and.......
yeah I just can't restrict myself from checking my TL AND

the top tweet in my TL is rank 63th and it was Nakanishi Yuka!!!

OMG

I WAS SHOCKED
because in the quick count Ayarin was placed in 63th
when I saw that it was Nishishi I quickly scroll down my TL to see the 64th position
After I realized the 64th was Mikapon
there is a mixed feeling in me
ow noo
Will Ayarin doesn't ranked in this sousenkyou again?:((
or MAYBE she will ranked higher than the quick count position?
after that worrying sousenkyou video :(

this weak heart can't bear to watch the rank one by one so I decided to doing my work
and working only last for a few minutes because there are mentions from twitter
and when I checked the mentions

OMG
Ayarin was ranked in 51th !!!
I can't believe my eyes!
I was stunned in my chair for seconds wwww

YEAH Ayarin finally entered the sousenkyou
FINALLY!!!!!!

I'm really happy !

my feeling at that time is that I just don't care anymore about sousenkyou www
don't care about who get the 1st position

but then I remembered about Manatsu!
can she made it to this year sousenkyou?
based on the quick count I thought Manatsu will steadily entered the UG position so I returned to work
but after just a few minutes again there is a mention
when I checked it

WHAT?
Manatsu only ranked in 35th position?

she will separated with Churi :((
OMG
but this is the first time she get into the sousenkyou and I think 35th position is good enough
but still...
so sad :(
but she is able to meet her expectation to get into top 40
I'm so happy for her
now I will looking forward to see her dancing in front of Finland Embassy in Japan wwww

After Manatsu got called
the clock has already show 5.00 p.m
so I rushed my way to home out from the office
I was hesitated at first
if I go home now, I will not arrived at home fast enough to see Manatsu's speech
but I think it's better to get home A.S.A.P

and I was right
when I got home, it's already the senbatsu part
just after I turned my PC on, Umechan was called at rank 16th
I got WOW'ed at Umechan
she finally made it to senbatsu after last year becomes the center of UG

well my sousenkyou hype is over after Manatsu got called
and senbatsu is the most not interesting part in this sousenkyou for me
except Yukirin of course
so I watched the sousenkyou till the end

well some comment bout the ranking (if there is no comment, it's mean I just don't care or familiar with the member or just don't know what to say about them www)  :

she deserves it more than anyone else

at first I was hoping Yukirin can take her place thought

- SuuAya will meet again in Future Girls :)

haven't seen them in a while

- Wasamin becomes the center of Next Girls and there is nnnnnnManatsu too!

- SKE48 domination in UG and Akicha being the center! I think this is the best UG lineup after KimiKoto

- Jurina at last beat Rena in sousenkyou after last year defeat. YEAH

- The moment when Churi and all the KII member smiled when Manatsu bowed her head :). Manatsu is really    loved by KII!

- Yukirin smiles really heart-warming :). 

I haven't watched all the speech video yet.

The sudden announcement of Maeda Atsuko.. The graduation of our queen

My 1st post in this blog will cover my feeling and thoughts about the graduation announcement from the queen and absolute ace of my beloved idol group now....

Yeah Maeda Atsuko known as Acchan has announced her graduation in the 3rd day of AKB48 Concert Gyoumu Renraku, Tanomu zo! Katayama Buchou at Saitama Super Arena (no no this is not Animelo Summer Concert).

Yeah after performing third encore song Dareka no Tame ni, Acchan asked for time to announce something...

When the audiences see her with teary eyes.. Yeah, they all know what is coming...

Acchan, the first generation of AKB48 and one of the founding member that help builds AKB48 to what they are now, finally announcing her graduation...

I was on my way to home when the announcement was made... When I heard this news, suddenly my mood drop. "What? Acchan will graduate from AKB? This is so fast!" is what crossed my mind at that time...

After yesterday shocking announcement about Jurina and Milky entering Team K and B respectively, I know there will be a huge announcement that will determine the future of AKB.. But this announcement is just too something (sesuatu banget).

To be honest, I never been a fan of Acchan in AKB. I never like the fact that she is the absolute center of AKB (putting the janken and sousenkyou aside of course). I really thinks that Yuko deserves the center position. I do like Acchan as an actress though like her role in Q10, Moshidora, and Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata.

But her graduation? It's really surprise me.. If it's about graduation, I am expecting Mariko or Yuko to grad soon. But Acchan?
AKB has only become top idol in Japan for around 2 years.. Maybe she feels that she has achieved all she can in AKB.. They finally will perform at Tokyo Dome.. The dream that all 1st gen member hold in their heart will be realized.. It's time to aim for a greater height of their career.. And maybe the graduation decision is the best way for her to reach that....

Graduation in 48family is always a heartbreaking moment... I still remember clearly when Nacchan was forced to graduate because of her scandal.. She is one of the remaining 1st gen too. And now there are 2 member of 1st gen graduating in a year... This is too sad...

I was not experiencing the forced graduation of my oshimen in around August 2008 (I'm not a fan of 48 when the scandal occured). But the graduation of Nacchan really hit me...

As a fan of 48 family that adopt the graduation system, graduation is something that must be faced by the members, all of the staff, and of course the fans....
This is maybe the turnover event that will determine the future of AKB48.. What will AKB48 become without their queen?
Yuko will most likely fill up the position of AKB center now. I've got no worries about this. She has all it takes to be the center of AKB. She will just doing fine like she did in Heavy Rotation (arguably the most popular AKB song now). But without Acchan, I think Yuko will grad too soon. Acchan is her eternal rival and if Acchan is not there, she will overwhelming the group... AKB will becomes too big for her without her rival and she will choose the graduation way too.

Akhh stop with the speculation... I can't imagine having both Acchan and Yuko announcing their graduation in the same year.. I really want Yuko to become the center of AKB for at least 1-2 years before she is graduating...

I hope Aki-p will not push other member to replace Acchan as a center... Yuko really really deserves that position.

Really hope Acchan will still in the entertainment industry after graduating from AKB. I want to see her again in dorama or movie. I really enjoyed her acting and of course her debut single is very good too.
